One of my favorite quotes is often said by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, “I am open to everything and attached to nothing.”

Incorporating this idea of being open to everything has assisted me in letting go of the need to judge in my daily life. Living with the idea that I am attached to nothing, allows me to always be open to change. After all, change is good.

And so, as we near the end of ‘08 reviewing the past and looking forward to the future, let us be completely open to everything and fully experience the diversity and joy life has to offer.

Lemongrass Oil

I usually think of using lemongrass essential oil for issues related to tendons and cartilage, but this testimonial was sent to me today and shows just how versatile each essential oil is.

Last week, my lymph glands under my ears were mildly swollen and painful. I wouldn’t even have thought of using EOs, but the naturopath at my local health food store did. Later, I looked up “lymph” in my EO bible and decided to try the Lemongrass with a little Message Oil. My glands started to go down within minutes and continued to improve until they had completely healed by the end of the day.

You’d think that at some point I’d get bored with essential oils, but I don’t. It is so exciting to see how they are working for other people and literally changing their lives!

I saw some friends today that got some oils from me a few weeks ago, and was pleasantly surprised at how wonderfully the oils have been working for them! From the liver cleanse, to Mood Magic, to I-Vision; all in their own way, all doing just what they were intended to do.

I love it! If you’ve had good experiences with your Forever Young oils, I’d love to hear from you. Feel free to make a comment or send me an email.

I always enjoy hearing other’s experiences with the oils. That’s one of the things I really enjoy about teaching classes. I frequently learn new uses for different oils from the people who come and share their experiences. I’m sure I’ll learn a lot at tomorrow nights class too.

I’ve got a kink in my neck!

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! Though this message is posted a few days late, the information is still useful year-round.

For all you who have been eating and enjoying over indulging yourself with yummy food, may I suggest an oil that will assist your body in digesting it all.

Today, among other things, was my raw desserts class. I must say, it was quite a treat! I had so much fun sharing recipes and ideas and hearing insights from those who attended. I just love getting together with like-minded people and sharing our thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My favorite part of teaching is definitely the people I get to meet at my classes. Teaching is so much fun!

So, here’s a recipe my class sampled today. It is super yummy and with the added essential oils, super healthy. There’s nothing like eating fudge and knowing that at the same time you’re boosting your immune system and oxygenating your blood!

Orange Chocolate Fudge

2 1/4 cups pure maple syrup (agave works too)

2 1/4 cups raw cacao powder

1 cup raw coconut oil

12 or more drops Forever Young Orange Essential Oil

Blend all ingredients together until smooth. Pour into pan/dish and place in the freezer until firm.

To make peppermint fudge, use 5 or so drops of Forever Young Peppermint Oil instead of Orange Oil.

Busy, Busy, Busy

I’ve been having so much fun and keeping busy teaching classes, doing aromatic touch sessions, and well, just living life, that I haven’t taken time to post in two weeks. Yikes!

I am happy to say that amidst everything I’ve been doing, I have been enjoying life and meeting tons of wonderful people. I love making new friends!
