Let’s Talk COMMUNITY

What is your idea of a Conscious Community? Are you willing to do what it takes to be a part of it?

Ok Sarah . . . I’m sure you’re aware by now that things are definitely changing at The Crystal Ray. As we move forward, our primary commitment is in creating a conscious community. And while refining our idea of what a community is, we agreed that it must consists of many, many people. (duh, ha ha)

Have you noticed new people working at the store? Have you attended any of the classes and workshops given by our new instructors? Are you wanting to be a part of the action at The Crystal Ray?

We are in the process of gathering people and creating voluntary committees to serve and assist us here at The Crystal Ray in creating an amazingly conscious and powerful community.

We’re not just talking about hanging out together and having fun, though that is a part of it. We’re talking about taking action and making a difference in our own lives and in the lives of those we care about and live around. Let’s teach, support and inspire each other, and then go out and inspire all who we come in contact with.

Our vision is for The Crystal Ray to be the center of our conscious community. A place of healing, learning, and gathering.A place where all can come and feel welcomed, loved, and safe. A place we can gather and create, gather and teach, and be a light to those who are looking for peace a direction in this seemingly confusing place we call home (Earth)

Every day, new people find their way into The Crystal Ray in search of comfort, health, and a place to belong.

We (Liberty and Sarah) cannot be a community alone.

We need your assistance.

We want your support.

Change vs. Crisis

Since we announced the new structure of ownership here at The Crystal Ray, we have been bombarded by customers asking “what went wrong?” and “what is the real story behind Crystal leaving?” and other such panic-laden questions.

Breeeeeaaaathe…

Nothing has gone wrong. No fights, name calling, hurt feelings, agony-drenched sister wars or other such drama has occurred. All is well. Crystal is merely ready to pursue her work with In Our Own Quiet Way with 110% of her energy.

WHAT ! ? ! ? Yep, it’s true! After nearly a year and a half of donating her heart, soul, creativity and time to our Oasis, Crystal has decided to dedicate her energies to another important project. She is the full-time Program and Funding Director of the Lindon-based charity “In Our Own Quiet Way“. Of course, she’s gonna still be around (she could never totally abandon this labor of love) but her connection to The Crystal Ray is now one of “Patron” rather than “Owner”. Holly Sue has also decided to focus her energy in other directions, and while she, too, can still be found as a friend at The Crystal Ray, she has assigned her Partnership Interest to Sarah Katoa. Cool. So, now who’s the boss? Liberty Mason and Sarah Katoa are the super awesome owners, directors, managers and dedicated facilitators of The Crystal Ray. All is well, all are happy, life is based in Joy and while Utah’s Oasis of Connection and Soul Vitality will undergo a few operational shifts, we remain YOUR PLACE for peace, for community, for learning and for growth.

BENHAM BOOK OF PALMISTRY

The book that for more than a century has been the standard reference for reading the hand, now in a completely reformatted edition.

Palmistry is one of the ancient arts, practiced in Egypt, India, Greece and Rome and prized as a sacred and peculiar gift. Its practitioners were highly respected philosophers, oracles and priests. Yet by the 17th century, it had become a lost art, kept alive almost solely in gypsy camps. And by the end of the 19th century, it was seen as little more than quackery, a small step up (or down) from fortune telling and alchemy.

When it was originally published (as The Laws of Scientific Hand Reading), Benham’s book immediately transformed the image of palm reading from a huckster’s trick to a practice with a firm scientific basis. It quickly became an essential reference work for anyone serious about palm reading.

The Essential Edition brings Benham’s original text back in print. It also updates many of the graphics, which have become obscured through numerous printings. Benham’s words remain as viable today as they were 100 years ago, as they form the foundation of modern palmistry.
