HAPPY NEW YEAR!

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

I hope you all have been enjoying the holiday season as much as I have. I am so very grateful for all of the beauty in my life. I am truly blessed!

To celebrate NEW YEARS EVE, my good friend Trayce Waterlyn, an amazing hypnotist/illusionist, is performing at the Grove Theatre here in Pleasant Grove, Utah. If you want to bring in the new year in a fun and positive way, come and join the party tonight. I brought a few friends to his show Thanksgiving weekend and we were laughing so hard, we nearly fell out of our seats!

Favorite Quote

Posted In: Healthy Living by skatoa

One of my favorite quotes is often said by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer, “I am open to everything and attached to nothing.”

Incorporating this idea of being open to everything has assisted me in letting go of the need to judge in my daily life. Living with the idea that I am attached to nothing, allows me to always be open to change. After all, change is good.

And so, as we near the end of ‘08 reviewing the past and looking forward to the future, let us be completely open to everything and fully experience the diversity and joy life has to offer.

Rawlala

Posted In: Essential Oils, Healthy Living by skatoa

Today, among other things, was my raw desserts class. I must say, it was quite a treat! I had so much fun sharing recipes and ideas and hearing insights from those who attended. I just love getting together with like-minded people and sharing our thoughts, feelings, and experiences. My favorite part of teaching is definitely the people I get to meet at my classes. Teaching is so much fun!

So, here’s a recipe my class sampled today. It is super yummy and with the added essential oils, super healthy. There’s nothing like eating fudge and knowing that at the same time you’re boosting your immune system and oxygenating your blood!

I’ve been having so much fun and keeping busy teaching classes, doing aromatic touch sessions, and well, just living life, that I haven’t taken time to post in two weeks. Yikes!

I am happy to say that amidst everything I’ve been doing, I have been enjoying life and meeting tons of wonderful people. I love making new friends!

I just have to tell you how much I absolutely love doing what I do. I taught an in-home class tonight and had a wonderful time! It’s crazy how much I enjoy sharing these oils with people and answering questions; talking about health in general and learning from everyone who is there.

Our theme for the night ended up being that healthy living is all about taking one step at a time, one day at a time, and doing what is best for you.

Why do I love Forever Young Essential Oils so much. Is it their purity? Their power? Their amazing health benefits? Yes! Yes! Yes!

However, what has been on my mind concerning essential oils lately, is how each individual oil can do so many wonderful things!

Take for example Orange Oil. I love this oil just for its beautiful, refreshing aroma alone, but it can do so many things. First and foremost, Orange Oil creates a happy feeling inside you. Go ahead a try to take a long deep breath while smelling Forever Young Orange Oil and see if you can’t help but smile. It’s crazy, but every time I smell it, a smile appears on my face.

frequenseapic-300x172 Mother Natures Milk

If you haven’t looked around my sight enough to learn about Frequensea, there’s no better time to do it then now. If you’re wondering what Frequensea is, it’s a raw Ionic Whole-Food Tonic that contains 100% pure marine phytoplankton.

Dr Hugo Rodier of the University of Utah School of Medicine says, “Marine Phytoplankton is an ideal food for mankind. It is Mother Nature’s milk from the ocean.”

Do you want to feel healthier, happier, and have more energy? Frequensea could be just what your body needs.

sickwomanblowingnose Sinus Infections are Not Fun

I had a pretty gnarly time this past week dealing with a sinus infection.  I would not recommend developing one of those at all.  I did not like it.  As a matter of fact, it kind of caught me by surprise because I just don’t get sick.
