Tonight was the Women’s Health Pampering Party and I loved it! It was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more except maybe more time to visit with everyone who came. The hour went by so fast.
We did foot soaks with Forever Young Essential Oil Bath Salts: so relaxing, and so easy to do.
For an easy de-stress treatment at home, try this: Get a plastic dish pan (I found mine at the dollar store), put some marbles on the bottom of it, add an essential oil bath salt and hot water and you’ve got a therapeutic foot soak. The marbles massage your feet as you move them around and the essential oils nourish, detoxify and relax your body simultaniously.
You can make your own soothing bath salts by adding a few of drops of essential oils to ½ cups sea salt and 2 TBS baking soda, ½ cup Epsom salt, or ½ cup Forever Young Bath Salt. Choose just one oil or do a combination that suits your needs. You can also add essential oils to your bubble bath as well.
Here are some suggestions on what oils to use, but the options are limitless.
Wonderful for skin/cellulite: Fennel, Orange, and Lavender
Relaxing/calming : Lavender, Chamomile, Geranium, Quiescent, TLC, or Sandalwood
Achy Feet: Lavender, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, or Cairo Care
Achy Body: Birch, Peppermint, TLC, Fysical Thera P, Marjoram
Cleansing Toxins/ Lymph System: Bay Laurel
Try a soothing foot soak tonight. And for an added dose of relaxation, apply Lavender or Quiescent on your feet after they’re done soaking while the pores are still wide open. Your body will soak up that oil in no time and you’ll be sleeping like a baby!
