High Heels: well at least they look good!

I wore a super cute new pair of shoes to the class I taught tonight. They looked so good!

However, by the end of the night, not only were my feet aching, but my back was tweaked. I could barely stand up straight when I got home and took those cute things off.

So there I was, actually feeling some serious pain in my back, and wondering what I should do. Then inspiration hit! Just today I packed an order for someone suffering from back/neck pain. The oil they chose was Marjoram. Marjoram is very beneficial for muscular stiffness, aches and pains, and strains and sprains.

I crawled over to my oils. First, I applied a drop of Cairo Care to both feet. Cairo Care helps to relax and release tension in the body, more specifically, in your back. Then I put Marjoram on each foot and some on my back where the pain was. Within a few minutes, to my amazement (I know, I should know by now that these oils work wonders, but I was still amazed), the kink in my back was gone; almost as if the pain had dissolved. I smile just thinking about it.

So there you go. If you’ve got killer high heels that look great, just wear them and use your essential oils to deal with the negative effects later. OK, probably not the best plan, but hey, I’m gonna wear those shoes again!

Back status update

OK, so it’s been about two hours since I first put the oils on, and the pain in my back is returning – ever slightly, but nevertheless, I can feel a little something back there. Have no fear, I will diligently apply more Cairo Care and Marjoram, possibly Fysical Thera P too, and go straight to bed to rest my weary body. Thanks to my essential oils, I plan on having a relaxed and restful, pain-free night.
