I spent nine hours at the expo today, met tons of beautiful people, and shared information about lots of different essential oils. The oil most requested essential oil overall today was…. Peppermint! Who’d of thought?
So, what is Peppermint oil good for? The most popular use for it is to soothe headaches. That’s right, just rub a drop on your temples, and you’re good to go!
There are many other uses for it as well. I’ll list a few here just to give you an idea of what to do with your Peppermint.
- helps to soothe laryngitis, sinusitis, mastitis, and cystitis

- calms bronchitis, dry cough, asthma, and colic
-relieves symptoms of morning sickness
- good for indigestion, flatulence, and diarrhea
- aids with gingivitis, herpes, shingles, halitosis
_ wards off skin parasites such as ringworm and scabies
- relieves mental exhaustion, vertigo, and nervous stress
Wow! And that’s not all! Today my friend Tami was having pain in her feet from standing so long in her uncomfortable heels. Her feet were swollen and hurting. She sat down for a while and rubbed some ForeverYoung Peppermint Essential Oil on her feet. It worked! The pain decreased almost immediately, and even though she was on her feet a few more hours, the swelling went down! Love these oils!
Oh, and don’t forget the Liver Cleanse. As a part of the Liver Cleanse, Peppermint Oil clears the liver of drugs, energizes sluggish body and promotes mental acuity and it may also help with allergies, gastritis, flatulence, vomiting, bronchitis, the common cold, and fevers.
